Hello, I'm the owner and licensed massage therapist at Aspen Bodywork LLC - located in Kalispell, Montana. I have nearly 20 years of experience working in a medical setting, doing clinical massage. In addition to therapeutic deep tissue, injury support, and pregnancy massage, I’ve also had extensive training in manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) and oncology massage. In addition to my bodywork education I have an undergraduate degree in Community Health Education and Aging Services from Portland State University.

 

My “ideal client” is someone who values massage and uses it as a tool in their ongoing wellness plans and goals. I’ve supported many clients with post-op recovery, those recovering from motor vehicle accidents, as well as those who need relief from chronic and acute pain. With MLD I have helped clients with Lyme disease, pregnancy edema, post-op swelling to gain range of motion, and those with general inflammation and swelling that follows injury. The manual lymphatic work that I do is also a gentle way to support my oncology patient clients as it reduces pain and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system which aids in sleep and digestion. It also helps manage lymphedema that can occur after radiation and lymph node removal.

I am very passionate about the work that I do and am dedicated to improving the health and well-being of my clients and community. Happily serving Kalispell and the entire Flathead Valley.
